We generally ship four times a year. In mid February to early March, then in mid April to early May, late September to early October and finally in early December. We try not to ship when the weather does not cooperate so shipments may be delayed in some areas. You will not be charged for your shipment until is ready to ship.
Each release is usually 4 bottles and will contain 2 bottles of 2 different varietals. We send out a release notice 1 week before processing the release. If you don’t want to receive a particular release, or want to modify the contents of the shipment, just let us know as soon as you get the release notice. We do ask that you accept at least 2 shipments during the course of the year, this does not include tasting room purchases.
All shipments are sent via UPS and must be signed for by an adult 21 years of age or older. Sales tax, actual packaging and shipping charges will be added to the purchase price. To save on shipping charges you may elect to pick up your shipment at our Carmel-by-the-Sea Tasting room, located in the Paseo San Carlos Courtyard on the west side of San Carlos between Ocean and 7th. Tasting Room will-calls are held for up to sixty (60) days. If not picked up, we will be ship via UPS to your shipping address.

By becoming a Wine Thief, you authorize Shale Canyon Wines to charge your credit card or PayPal account for each shipment and agree to notify us of any changes in your account information.
You may cancel any time after you receive your second shipment, this does not include tasting room purchases. Cancellation can be made via email to sales@shalecanyonwines.com or by writing us at:
